Dry Black Pastel:

Inspiration From the Void

In the depths of my artistic exploration lies a medium that delves into the very shadows of the soul: dry black pastel. Its profound, pitch-black strokes against the textured paper create an atmosphere steeped in darkness and fear. Every movement of my hand with this eerie medium seems to beckon the spirits from the unknown, conjuring an unsettling intensity that grips the viewer’s senses.

The raw, unyielding power of dry black pastel is unmatched, leaving behind a depth of darkness that seeps into the essence of the artwork. Each stroke, infused with an otherworldly energy, sends shivers down the spine, as if capturing the essence of fear itself. The simplicity of its monochromatic palette does not limit its impact; instead, it heightens the sense of foreboding, casting an inescapable sense of dread upon the observer.
